Since its inception in 2007, AORD has been at the forefront of community engagement, working tirelessly to promote peacebuilding and instill the values of peaceful coexistence within societies.
The organization is dedicated to building capacities for effective conflict transformation, fostering social cohesion, and encouraging integration among diverse community groups. AORD emphasizes the empowerment of local actors, equipping them with the skills and resources necessary to manage natural resources sustainably. Additionally, AORD strives to enhance access to essential services, thereby contributing to the overall resilience and well-being of communities.

Facts During 2020-25

Funds have been mobilized to deliver safe multi-sectoral responses for refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs), providing essential services like protection, education, and health interventions.

Partnerships with UN agencies and international NGOs in various states further enhance these efforts.

Mobilized more than $ 4.575697.16 to provide Provision of safe and timely multi-sectoral response for IDPs, refugees, communities
65 communities benefited from our work in 40 localities in 8 States
10400 community members and volunteers benefited from the different training program

We reached almost 1,422,682 most affected and vulnerable persons including 553609 female and 776000 Children (426000 Girl and 349200 Boy) with emergency services, Protection, Education WASH, FSL, NFI and H& Nutrition interventions in 40 localities, despite significant disruptions, including looting and loss of assets.

Strengthened collaborations with 11 UN agencies and INGO, playing an active role in humanitarian coordination forums.
