Since its inception in 2007, AORD has been at the forefront of community engagement, working tirelessly to promote peacebuilding and instill the values of peaceful coexistence within societies.

The organization is dedicated to building capacities for effective conflict transformation, fostering social cohesion, and encouraging integration among diverse community groups. AORD emphasizes the empowerment of local actors, equipping them with the skills and resources necessary to manage natural resources sustainably. Additionally, AORD strives to enhance access to essential services, thereby contributing to the overall resilience and well-being of communities.

Strengthening Communities Through Collaboration

Provide immediate, lifesaving non-food items (NFIs) and enhance emergency shelter solutions for refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and host communities during and after disasters and conflicts.

EMERGENCY

Enhance the effectiveness and accessibility of quality education for IDPs, refugees, and host communities, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn and thrive.

Protection ‎

Improve the effectiveness of life-saving protection assistance for IDPs and refugees, ensuring their safety, dignity, and rights are upheld in all circumstances.

Food security and livelihoods ‎

Strengthen food security and livelihoods by restoring agriculture and livestock-based income sources for refugees, IDPs, and returnees, promoting sustainable development and self-reliance.

Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)‎

Improve access to safe and dignified water and sanitation services while promoting proper hygiene practices and disease risk prevention among refugees, IDPs, and host communities.

Health and Nutrition ‎

Provide life-saving health and nutrition services to vulnerable populations of IDPs, refugees, and host communities, addressing their urgent healthcare needs and promoting overall well-being.

Funds have been mobilized to deliver safe multi-sectoral responses for refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs), providing essential services like protection, education, and health interventions.

Partnerships with UN agencies and international NGOs in various states further enhance these efforts.

Mobilized $7.5M for multi-sectoral refugee aid

Mobilized more than $7,519,248.49‎ to provide Provision of safe and timely multi-sectoral response ‎for refugees, IDPs, and host communities

Reached 1.12M with air, protection and education

Reached more than 1,122,000 people (676000 child (343000 Girl) ‎‎(333000 boy), with Protection, Education WASH, FSL, NFI and H& ‎Nutrition interventions in 40 localities‎
