Partnering for Effective Emergency Response in Greater Kordofan (PEER):

Partnering for Effective Emergency Response in Greater Kordofan (PEER) aims to continue providing lifesaving interventions for people affected conflict, with an emphasis on the most vulnerable in –need IDPs and host communities in greater kordofan state.

The key intervention of health, nutrition and WASH are the most critical service needed according to 2015 Humanitarian Needs Overview for Sudan from the result of the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) conducted in 2014.

In addition of the government line ministries, Save the Children –Sweden worked in partnership National NGOs Alsalam organization for Rehabilitation and Development to implement a set of health, nutrition and WASH activities in North Kordofan state, Elrahad, Shikan and Um Ruwaba localities , the  budget of the project cost "284,181 $".The implementation period was one year .
